Blogging – what is it and why should I?

Justin Seibert and Russell Dunkin will present a panel discussion on blogging.

Justin Seibert is the President of Direct Online Marketing, a Google AdWords Certified Partner and Microsoft adExcellence Company headquartered in Wheeling. The company offers pay per click advertising, SEO, online reputation management, and social media optimization to clients across the United States, Australia, and the UK. Justin is a new AITP member and sits on the boards of the West Virginia Northern Community College Foundation and Wheeling Health Right. He and his beautiful wife Kristin have three wonderful children and a golden retriever who serves as Direct Online Marketing’s mascot, SEOdog. Russell Dunkin, a Certified Financial Planner® and wealth advisor with McKinley Carter, has worked in the financial services industry since 1998. Prior to joining McKinley Carter, he worked as an investment counselor for one the largest financial holding companies in the United States.

Russell attended Capital University, in Columbus Ohio, where he received a degree in Economics with minors in Finance and Political Science. He has also successfully completed the Certified Financial Planning Professional Program.

Russell is a regular contributor of financial-related columns to many local, regional, and statewide publications such as The State Journal, OV Parent Magazine, Wheeling News-Register and Intelligencer, Martins Ferry Times Leader, and The Dominion Post in Morgantown.

He sits on the executive committee for Wheelings “ON TRAC” program, is a board member of The Laughlin Memorial Chapel, is a public member of the West Virginia State Bar Commission on Judicial Independence, an active member of the Ohio Valley Jaycees where he served as Treasurer in 2008.

Event Schedule

We will meet on the first floor of the White Palace. Social time and registration will be from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. The buffet style dinner will begin at approximately 6:00 p.m. and the presentation will start after the meal. Cost for the evening is $18.00 for AITP members, $10.00 for AITP student members, and $23.00 for guests.

We will have our 50/50 drawing and door prizes for those in attendance.
