Topic & Speaker

Andrew Snyder – Virtual Reality

One of the promising future technologies for an immersive computing experience is “Virtual Reality.” It’s such a compelling technology that Facebook made a $2 Billion acquisition in it back in 2014, and is investing heavily in the technology since.

Andrew Snyder was an early adopter of the technology since it started shipping in early 2016, and will be sharing his experiences with it, and sharing where he believes it will be going in the future.

Andrew Snyder is currently a System Administrator at Wheeling Hospital. He has been working with Technology since early in his life via gaming, building and working on PCs. He also has won the 13th, 14th, & 15th Tiger Direct’s Build your own PC race. He has been working with the Occulous Rift since release in 2016.

Event Schedule

We will meet at the White Palace. Social time and registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. The dinner will be at 6:15 p.m. and the presentations will follow the meal.
